Kimfoundthatparticipantswhohadreportedbetterrelationshipswithboththeirpeersandteachersinmiddleand

highschoolalsoreportedbetterphysicalandmentalhealthintheirmid-20s.However,whenhecontrolledforfamily

backgroundbylookingatpairsofsiblingstogether,onlythelinkbetweengoodteacherrelationshipsandadulthealth

remainedsignificant.

Theresultssuggestteacherrelationshipsaremoreimportantthanpreviouslyrealizedandthatschoolsshouldinvest
