3、irections: in the south/north/west/east ofBefore lesson:1. Prepare some cards of the words dumplings vegetables noodles fried chicken 2.Prepare more pictures of food and drinkssausage,hot dog,hamburger,milk,juice,bread,rice,soup,chicken,fish,vegetables,coke,coffee,water,tea and so o
4、n.4Prepare some flags of the countries:China,America,England,Japan,France5. Prepare a map of China and the world.Prepare a map of the world that has nothing, in this blank map, take some countries and the four directions of China.Teaching Procedures:Step1. Warming up(熱身) The teacher reads the dialog
5、ue, and let students know the topic. The dialogue like this:A: Where are you from, Mrs. Smith? Are you English?B: No. Im from New York. Im an American.A: Do you like hamburger?B: Yes. We often eat hamburgers. Where are you from?A: Im a Chinese. Im from Changsha.B: Where is Changsha?A: It is in
6、the south of China.B: Do you often eat hamburgers?A: No. We like rice.Step 2.New Presentation(新課展示) 1)Im from the north of China. I come from America. Im from Japan. Im from England.(1)Be from sp./come from sp.表示某人來自某地,某人是某地人的句型。后面可以跟國名或地名。The teacher shows the map of the world and explains to

The teacher asks, the Ss answer them and find in the map of China.Eg: Where is Shanghai/ Lasa/ Guangzhou/Shenyang?Its in the east/west/south/north of China.2)Linda and Billy are from America. 15、nd, JapanIn China, take some cities: Xining, Tianjin, Changsha, Shanghai; then the teacher gives some flags to some Ss(1) Point to America and asks like this:T: Look! Look! What is it? Ss: Yes. Yes. It is America. Who is from America? (One student that takes the flag of America stand up quickly and say like this) S1: Im from America. Ss: What do you like to eat? S1:I like to eat hamburger.(If the student cant answer the question ,the teacher can take out one kind of food that has represented, then help him answer the question) T:What doe
