1)表示過去的動作或存在的狀態。

Hewenthomeandsatdown.be動詞過去式的構成:1.在一般過去時中,原來的am,is要改為was,如果主語是第一人稱與第三人稱以及相當于第三人稱單數的名詞,謂語動詞都用was。2.原來的are都要改為were。1.一般情況:v.+ed;2.以不發音的e結尾的:v.+d;3.末尾只有一個輔音字母的重讀閉音節詞,先雙寫輔音字母,再+ed;4.結尾是“輔音字母+y”的,先變“y”為“i”再+ed；5.不規則的動詞變化見教材。實義動詞過去式的變化規則:清后/t/,元濁/d/,/t//d/后面讀/id/。即:以清輔音結尾的單詞后加ed,讀/t/;以元音和濁輔音結尾的單詞后加ed,讀/d/;以讀音/t//d/結尾的單詞后加ed,讀/id/。詞尾-ed的讀音:Summary一般過去時口訣

一般過去時并不難，表示過去動作、狀態記心間。動詞要用過去式，時間狀語句末站。否定句很簡單，didn’t站在動詞原形前，其他部分不要變。一般疑問句也好變，did放在句子前，主語、動詞原形、其他部分依次站。特殊疑問句也簡單，疑問詞加一般疑問句記心間。

最后一條請注意，動詞過去式要牢記。
