1、我在哈佛的第一周 新生邁進哈佛校園的第一天，據說總是令人興高采烈，激動不已。這的確也是我來到哈佛第一天的真實寫照。父母陪著我開車駛過主校門進入校園時，那柔和的陽光透過綠樹間隙照射在具有歷史意義的磚墻建筑物上。沾滿晨露的綠草在陽光下閃閃發光。我凝視著車窗外面的迷人景色，自忖“最幸運的新生不過如此了！”我們來到了卡納迪公寓我的宿舍樓。我和四個女孩同住在四室一廳的套房里。這個套房在頂樓，天花板很高，上面有天窗。從卡納迪公寓到餐廳和上課的教室，都只需要兩分鐘的路程。我很喜歡自己的室友。我們各自的背景、種族、宗教信仰和興趣愛好都完全不同。這也映襯出哈佛引以自豪的“多樣性”。第一周，幸虧有這樣四個可稱為朋

2、友的女孩相伴，幫助我順利度過了到哈佛后的這段適應期。這一周有許多重要的抉擇需要我來做，而沒有父母和好友的幫助，有時我會感到十分艱難。選課是第一步。在哈佛，新生唯一的必修課是說明文寫作。這一年，我實際上可以選修我想學的任何課程，而且課程的門類出奇地多！我該如何選擇呢？慶幸的是哈佛允許新生在“選課周”里到課堂試聽。上課時間和平時一樣，我們可以試聽任何想選修的課程，多少不限。如果我最后決定選修某一門課程，我就要完成“選課周”里布置的所有功課。另外，如果我試聽了一門選課表上看似很好的課程，卻發現這門課并不適合我，或教授講課枯燥乏味，我可以決定不選修這門課！同樣艱難的是在眾多的運動隊、出版社團、樂隊、戲

3、劇社或俱樂部中做出選擇。到底該參加哪一個呢？在哈佛，就餐肯定也是新生最關注的事情之一。不僅是一日三餐吃什么吃的都是美味，更值得一提的是就餐的環境真的很好。我們的餐廳更像是一個教堂或博物館。桌子、椅子、地板、墻壁，還有高高的天花板都是用華麗的深色木料制作的，油漆得精光锃亮。而且，大廳里懸掛著枝形吊燈，墻上鑲嵌著明亮的彩色玻璃窗，廳里到處可見哈佛歷史名人的雕塑和畫像。哈佛第一周的所有這些經歷將成為我畢生的珍貴記憶。然而，哈佛這一周給予我的最寶貴 的資產，卻是我遇到的其他同學。我在這兒遇到的每一個人都是那么樸實。每當我看到有人在 嘉佩樂音樂會上演唱動人的歌曲，有人在才藝秀上表演精彩的小提琴獨奏，有人

9、著種種新的嘗試，到山地去野營，把信手涂鴉的詩投到報社，還在課堂上給老師畫漫畫。走在校園熟悉的路上，我在不知不覺中就陷入了深深的反思和對往昔的回憶。我發覺自己好想從頭來過，再次體味大學生活的歡娛和激動。一想到畢業我心里就一陣陣恐慌。從記事起我就一直在讀書。我覺得還有很多東西想學，可是卻不得不畢業了。世界如此之大，可能發生的事情太多太多。過去四年中，我一直被一張安全的網包圍著。學生這個身份總能讓人感到欣慰，使我可以躲開外面世界的無情現實。還有不到兩周就要離校了，每每想到就要畢業，我就打心眼兒里感到不安。因為我從記事起就一直是名學生。我覺得自己是在回避畢業。每當別人問起我大學畢業后打算做什么時，我就
