8、th的用法 deal with意為“處理”。deal的過去式和過去分詞都是dealt。例如: I dont know how to deal with the problem. 我們不知道如何處理這個問題。 At the beginning of this term, well have many difficulties to deal with. 這學期開始我們將有許多難題要解決。 how to deal with what to do with 有什么不一樣呢? DO WITH 和DEAL WITH都表示應付,處理。但是DO WITH 中的DO 為及物動詞,句子中用DO WITH 時,用
9、WHAT 提問:WHAT DID YOU DO WITH YOUR WORK?而DEAL WITH 中的DEAL為不及物動詞,因此提問時用HOW:HOW DID YOU DEAL WITH YOUR WORK?2. have no choice but to do這種句型中的不定式通常要帶to;但當其前面的動詞是do,或只有情態動詞時,but后面的不定式要省去to。例如: He did nothing but sleep all day long. 他什么也不干,成天睡覺。 I can do nothing but obey it. 我只能服從。 3. spare adj. 多余的, 剩下的,
10、 備用的 I dont have spare time,v. 節約, 節省, 提供給某人Can you spare some time for me?4. worth: be worth + n. 當名詞為金錢時,表示“ 值得” be worth doing sth. “某事值得被做” (此處在形式上不用被動語態)The question is not worth discussing again and again. 5. offer作動詞的用法: offer有(主動)拿給,給予的意思,相當于give, 后可接名詞或代詞作賓語,也可接雙賓語,即offer sb sth =offer sth
11、to sb, 如: The young man offered the old man his own seat on the bus. 那個年輕人在公共汽車上將自己的座位讓給了那個老人。 Many people willingly offered their blood. 很多人自愿獻血。 No food was offered at the party. 聚會時沒有提供食品。 6. be of great value這里of 是擁有的意思 整句的意思為 他們對我來說意義重大。 of 的同樣用法 She and I am of the same age. 7. allow: allowed-
12、allowing-allowsEg. Smoking is not allowed here. 此處不準吸煙。allow sb to do sthEg.我爸不允許我完成作業前在外面玩My father doesnt allow me to play outside before finishing my homework.8. be strict with sb / in sth 對要求嚴格1. 我媽對我要求嚴格My mother is strict with me.2.我媽對我的學習要求嚴格. My mother is strict in my study.9. Wish to do sth
13、 1.名詞: 愿望;希望.命令,請求, pl. 祝愿Eg. With best wishes for a happy new year. 祝新年快樂2. 動詞:(1)需要;希望 Eg. 你希望我幫忙嗎? Do you wish my help ? 你要我現在就走嗎? Do you wish me to leave now?(2)祝愿 Eg. 我祝愿你健康愉快。I wish you well and happy. 祝你們成功。Wish you success. 我祝愿他們幸運Wish them luck.(3)向.致(問候語) Eg. 他向我道早安告別。He wished me good mor
14、ning good-bye.4)但愿(后面接一個與事實相反句子時,從句中的動詞用過去時) Eg. 但愿我能變成一只鳥。I wish I was a bird 我希望現在能看到他。I wish I could see him now.Step3 練習 老師說: Now we have known everything Simon and Millie want to tell Sigmund.
