Analysis of teaching material本單元主要是圍繞Its raining !這一主題展開的教學(xué)活動(dòng)。核心話題是談?wù)撎鞖夂腿藗冋谧鍪裁?。因此,如何回答“Hows the weather?”“What are you doing? ”“Hows it going?”是本單元的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)。通過(guò)對(duì)本單元的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生能夠掌握本單元所出現(xiàn)的表示天氣的形容詞,詢問(wèn)天氣狀況的句式及其回答,能夠靈活運(yùn)用現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)。Section B是對(duì)section A部分的拓展與延伸。話題上,拓展談?wù)撎鞖獾谋磉_(dá)法。技能方面,進(jìn)一步深化對(duì)聽說(shuō)讀寫的訓(xùn)練。通過(guò)聽、說(shuō)、讀、寫來(lái)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用這些知識(shí)的能力。最終讓學(xué)生能在“說(shuō)中學(xué)”(learn by speaking),通過(guò)有限的課堂實(shí)踐活動(dòng),準(zhǔn)確地用英語(yǔ)討論天氣狀況。2. Analysis of students七年級(jí)的學(xué)生正處于好奇心旺盛、求知欲強(qiáng)和創(chuàng)造力強(qiáng)的年級(jí),他們敢于質(zhì)疑、有著強(qiáng)烈的表現(xiàn)欲望,可以充分挖掘他們這些長(zhǎng)處利用小組練習(xí)進(jìn)行合作學(xué)習(xí),發(fā)揮兵教兵的作用。II Teachingaims and demands1.Knowledge objects:(1) words & phrases : warm, dry, cold, cool, hot, not bad, pretty good(2) Sentence patterns:Hows it going?Hows the weather (in)? / Whats the weather like (in)?Its sunny / rainy / cloudy / warm / hot2.Ability objects(1)Ss can use sentence patterns to talk about weather correctly.(2) Ss can use present progressive tense correctly.3.Moral objects:(1) Ss can know something about the weather and talk about their feelings.(2) Ss can care more about weather forecast and remind their family to wear more or less clothes in the changeable weather.III Teaching key and difficult points:(1) Present progressive tense.(2) The usage of correct sentence patterns to talk about weather.(3) Ss can talk about their feelings.IVTeachingaids:PPT of the lesson, textbook, CAIV Teaching and learning Methods :(1) Task-based teaching method, (2) communication teaching method (3) Cooperative learning methodVITeaching procedures:Step 1, GreetingsStep2, Lead-inReview the learned knowledge by presenting some signs about the weather and lead into new class to expend the expressions which related to weather.Step 3, Presentation(1) Present new words on PPT, ss should read after the teacher and try to grasp them by repeating. (2) Work on 1a, Ask students to match the words with the pictures according to what theyve learned just now. Then check the answers with them by asking the students to read the letters and words. (3) Work on 1b, ask students to read the dialogue first and then practice it with their partners. Step 4, Listening(1) Work on 1c and 1d, play the listening material and ask ss to finish the exercises on the books, after that, play the recording again to check answers with ss.(2) Present incomplete listening material, play the recording again, ask ss to fill in the blanks.Step 5, Activity (1) Work on 1e, role-play the conversation which happened in listening part.(2) Present some pictures and ask ss to make their own dialogue with learned sentence pattern. Give them some time to prepare and then the teacher can choose some pairs to act the dialogue out.VIISummary and homeworkTo summarize what students have learned in todays lesson and give them todays assignments.
