1、一,端午節龍舟節也叫做端午節,它位于每年農歷的五月初五,經過幾千年的時間,劃龍舟 和吃粽子已經成為這個節日的標志。端午節最重要的活動是龍舟競賽,比賽的隊伍在熱烈的鼓聲中劃著他們多彩的龍 舟前進。這項活動的靈感是來自於當時汨羅江畔的居民,在江中劃船救屈原,而 這個傳統也一直保持了數個世紀。在端午節時受歡迎的食物就是粽子,粽子是以米包著肉、花生、蛋黃及其他材料, 再以竹葉包裹。而粽子的傳統那么來由於汨羅江邊的漁夫,將米丟入江中平息江中 的蛟龍,希望他們不要將屈原吃掉。二,重陽節農歷九月九日,為傳統的重陽節。因為古老的易經中把“六”定為陰數,把 九定為陽數,九月九日,日月并陽,兩九相重,故而叫重陽,
2、也叫重九,古人認為是個值得慶賀的吉利日子,并且從很早就開始過此節日。重陽節正是一年的金秋時節,菊花盛開,民間還把農歷九月稱為“菊月”, 在菊花傲霜怒放的重陽節里,觀賞菊花成了節日的一項重要內容,當然,人們也 會喝一些菊花酒。女人會把茱萸插在頭上或掛在門口,可以避難消災。今天的重陽節,被賦予了新的含義,在1989年,我國把每年的九月九日定為老 人節,傳統與現代巧妙地結合,成為尊老、敬老、愛老、助老的老年人的節日。 全國各機關、團體、街道,往往都在此時組織從工作崗位上退下來的老人們秋游 賞景,或臨水玩樂,或登山健體,讓身心都沐浴在大自然的懷抱里;不少家庭的 晚輩也會攙扶著年老的長輩到郊外活動或為老
3、人準備一些禮物。三,元宵節每年農歷的正月十五日是中國的元宵節。元宵主要的活動就是看燈。各式各樣美 麗的花燈在這一天都會點亮,孩子們提著自制的燈籠走街串巷,非常高興。猜燈 謎也是元宵節的一項重要活動,因為謎語能啟迪智慧又有趣,所以深受社會各階 層的歡迎。當天也有吃元宵的習俗,元宵又稱湯圓,這個名稱和“團圓”字音相 近,所以人們也以此象征一家人團圓、和諧與幸福。四,西湖是座落在歷史悠久的杭州的著名的一個淡水湖泊。西湖的名字早在唐 朝就固定下來。在宋代,中國著名詩人蘇東坡寫的一首詩來贊美西湖,把它和 中國傳說(legendary)中的美麗西子相比。自那時以來,西湖有另一種優雅 (elegant)的名
4、字西子湖.著名的西湖就像一顆璀璨的明珠,鑲嵌(embed)在美麗富饒的中國東海沿岸。意大利著名旅行家馬可波羅(Marco Polo)曾這樣表達 他印象中的杭州:“這是世界上最美妙迷人的城市,它使人覺得自己是在天堂J五,漢字是世界上使用時間最久、空間最廣、人數最多的文字之一。漢字的創制 和應用不僅推進了中華文化的開展,而且對世界文化的開展產生了深遠的影響o 漢字形成為系統的文字是公元前16世紀的商朝。漢字是以象形字(pictographic character)為基礎,以形聲字(phonogram)為主體的表意文字體系,總數約有一 萬個,其中最常用的有三千個左右。漢字產生以后,對周邊國家產生了深
5、刻影響。 日本、越南、朝鮮等國家的文字都是在漢字的基礎上創制的。六,京劇京劇本來是一種地方性的戲劇表演形式,由于它傳遍中國大江南北,深受群眾歡 迎與喜愛,所以就慢慢演變成了代表中國藝術特色的全國性戲劇。京劇表演融合 了唱、念、作、打等多種藝術表現形式,輔以五彩繽紛的服裝道具以及化妝。在 京劇中,女性的角色被稱做“旦”,男性的角色被稱做“生”,小丑被稱做“丑” 每個角色都會依照他們的性別、年齡及個性,在臉上畫不同的臉譜。這樣,觀眾 可以很容易地分清這些演員所扮員的角色是什么樣的性格。七,中國人使用筷子就餐的方式在世界上獨樹一幟。有史記載用筷的歷史已有三 千多年。筷子古時稱為箸,它看似簡單,但卻同
6、時具有夾、撥、挑、扒、拌、撮、 戳、撕等多種功能。中國民間視筷子為吉祥之物,如婚俗中將筷子隱喻為快生貴 子的祝福等。與使用刀叉以及手抓的方式不同,成雙結對的筷子含有“和為貴”的 意蘊。西方人贊譽筷子是古老的東方文明。The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. For thousands of years, the festival has been ma

Competing teams drive their colorful dragon boats forward to the rhythm of beating drums. These exciting races were inspired by the villagers attempts to rescue Chu Yuan from th

This tasty dish consists of rice dumplings with meat, peanut, egg yolk, or other fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves. The tradition of tzung tzu is meant to remind us of
9、the village fishermen scattering rice across the water of the Mi Low river in order to appease the river dragons so that they would not devour Chu Yuan.Double Ninth FestivalThe 9th day of the 9th lunar month is the traditional Chongyang Festival, or Double Ninth Festival. It usually falls in October
10、 in the Gregorian calendar. In an ancient and mysterious book Yi Jing, or The Book of Changes, number 6 was thought to be of Yin character, meaning feminine or negative, while number 9 was thought to be Yang, meaning masculine or positive. So the number nine in both month and day create the Double N
11、inth Festival, or Chongyang Festival. Chong in Chinese means double. Also, as double ninth was pronounced the same as the word to signify forever, both are Jiu Jiu, the Chinese ancestors considered it an auspicious day worth celebration. Thats why ancient Chinese began to celebrate this festival lon
12、g time ago.The Double Ninth Festival is also a time when chrysanthemum blooms. China boasts diversified species of chrysanthemum and people have loved them since ancient times. So enjoying the flourishing chrysanthemum also becomes a key activity on this festival. Also, people will drink chrysanthem
13、um wine. Women used to stick such a flower into their hair or hang its branches on windows or doors to avoid evilness.In 1989, the Chinese government decided the Double Ninth Festival as Seniors Day. Since then, all government units, organizations and streets communities will organize an autumn trip
14、 each year for those who have retired from their posts. At the waterside or on the mountains, the seniors will find themselves merged into nature. Younger generations will bring elder ones to suburban areas or send gifts to them on this day.Chinese lantern festivalThe Lantern Festival in China falls
15、 on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month. This days important activity is watching lanterns. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets, attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. Guessing lantern
16、riddles* is also an essential part of the Festival. As riddle guessing is interesting and full of wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata. People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation
17、 with tuanyuan”, meaning reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the family.West Lake or XT Hu is a famous fresh water lake located in the historic area of Hangzhou. The name of West Lake was fixed as early as the Tang Dynasty . In the Song Dynasty, the Chinese renowne
18、d poet Su Dongpo wrote a poem to praise the West Lake and compared it to Xizi, a Chinese legendary beauty. Since then, the West Lake has another elegant name Xizi Lake.
