1、Unit 2 Part B Lets learn教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)一、案例背景1學(xué)生分析六年級(jí)學(xué)生的語言已經(jīng)發(fā)展到了一定的水平,但是空間思維能力和方向感還比較弱。而本課時(shí)的教學(xué)既有turn left,turn right等表示左右的詞匯,又有east, south, west, north等表示東、南、西、北的詞匯,學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)運(yùn)用起來會(huì)比較吃力。因此,在設(shè)計(jì)本堂課的時(shí)候,本人把east, south, west, north 四個(gè)詞移到下一課Lets talk中去教學(xué),而在本課中增加了crossing,要求學(xué)生基本學(xué)會(huì)用“Go straight,turn left at the first crossin

2、g, go straight on, turn left at the traffic lights, its on your left”等語言來指路。2教學(xué)內(nèi)容詞匯:turn left,turn right,go straight,crossing 句型:Go straight,turn left at the first crossing, go straight on, turn left at the traffic lights, its on your left3教學(xué)目標(biāo)(1)知識(shí)目標(biāo):能夠聽、說、認(rèn)讀詞匯:turn left,turn right,go straight,cros

3、sing能夠聽、說、認(rèn)讀句型:Go straight,turn left at the first crossing, go straight on, turn left at the traffic lights, its on your left(2)能力目標(biāo):能夠基本學(xué)會(huì)幫人指路。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的方向感和空間思維能力。(3)情感目標(biāo):培養(yǎng)學(xué)生樂于助人的好品質(zhì)。4教學(xué)重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)(1)教學(xué)重點(diǎn):能夠聽、說、認(rèn)讀詞匯:turn left,turn right,go straight,crossing能夠聽、說、認(rèn)讀句型:Go straight,turn left at the first cross

4、ing, go straight on, turn left at the traffic lights, its on your left(2)教學(xué)難點(diǎn):使學(xué)生能夠分清左右,并能正確指路。5教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備(1)制作多媒體課件。(2)每組準(zhǔn)備兩張地圖:一張教室模擬小鎮(zhèn)平面圖,一張美國(guó)小鎮(zhèn)平面圖。(3)教室場(chǎng)景布置:整個(gè)教室為一個(gè)模擬小鎮(zhèn),每個(gè)小組為一個(gè)具體的場(chǎng)所,其間還有十字路口和交通燈。二、教學(xué)過程:Step 1: Warm-up (2)介紹教室場(chǎng)景:T: Today, our classroom is a small town. This is a post office. Here is a

Are you clear?Ss: Yes.設(shè)計(jì)意圖通過對(duì)教室場(chǎng)景的介紹,復(fù)習(xí)了所學(xué)場(chǎng)所的名稱,使學(xué)生熟悉了模擬小鎮(zhèn)的布局,為后面在小鎮(zhèn)中準(zhǔn)確找方位做好準(zhǔn)備。同時(shí),也使學(xué)生仿佛真的置身于一個(gè)小鎮(zhèn)之中,從心理上進(jìn)入了教學(xué)情境,并對(duì)這堂課充滿了期待。Listen and do.T: Now, please listen and do. Touch your nose. Touch your eye. (發(fā)令速度漸快)Touch your right ear. Touch your left ear. Touch your right eye. 設(shè)計(jì)意圖通過聽聽、做做,讓學(xué)生熱身、放松,

6、同時(shí)也初步感知左右,特別是隨著老師發(fā)令速度的加快,學(xué)生會(huì)變得越來越興奮,越來越投入。Step 2: Presentation 教學(xué)新詞匯:turn left, turn right, go straight(1)隨著聽做活動(dòng)的繼續(xù),新的教學(xué)內(nèi)容開始呈現(xiàn):T: Stand up, please. Show me your right hand. Turn right. Show me your left hand. Turn left. Go straight. (2)(2)當(dāng)學(xué)生基本上能按照老師的口令做動(dòng)作之后,請(qǐng)兩個(gè)學(xué)生試著發(fā)令,教師跟其他學(xué)生一起做動(dòng)作。(2)(3)多媒體一一呈現(xiàn)表示左轉(zhuǎn)、

7、右轉(zhuǎn)、直行的圖片,教師問:“What does it mean?”,學(xué)生一一作答,教師呈現(xiàn)詞匯,并讓學(xué)生以各種形式認(rèn)讀新詞匯。(3)設(shè)計(jì)意圖通過簡(jiǎn)單聽做到感知左右,再利用左右手搞清左轉(zhuǎn)、右轉(zhuǎn)和直行,然后考察口頭語言輸入的有效性,最后呈現(xiàn)新詞匯并學(xué)習(xí)新詞匯,從聽做、聽說到讀,使得一切都水到渠成,絲毫不會(huì)讓學(xué)生感到為難。教學(xué)新詞匯:crossing (1)游戲:Find the treasure (2)T:(教師拿出一個(gè)寶盒)Now, lets play a game: Find the treasure. OK?Ss: OK.T: Who wants to find the treasure?(

8、教師請(qǐng)一名學(xué)生上來,面對(duì)黑板,然后把寶盒藏到小鎮(zhèn)的某一個(gè)地方。)T: Now, please listen. Turn left, go straight, turn left, go straight, turn right(直到找到寶盒)(2)教學(xué)新詞匯:crossing (3)當(dāng)該學(xué)生找到寶盒之后,請(qǐng)他打開看看里面有什么寶貝。T: Whats in the treasure box? Open it and see.S1: Its a paper.T: What does it say?S1: It says: Find the near the bank. Find the treas

9、ure.T:(教師通過投影,指著十字路口的圖形)What does it mean?(多媒體出示十字路口圖形和單詞,教師領(lǐng)讀并讓學(xué)生以小組形式齊讀。)T: How many crossings are there in our town?Ss: Four.T: Where is the bank?S2: Its here.T: How can I get to the crossing?Ss: You turn right, go straight, turn left, go straightT: Who can help me go to the crossing and find the

10、 treasure?教師請(qǐng)一名學(xué)生根據(jù)指令找寶藏。T:(當(dāng)那名學(xué)生找到了銀行旁邊的十字路口。)Can you find the treasure? S3: Its an envelope. T: Open it and see. S3: Its a paper, too. 11、town?Ss: Two.T: Where is the bookstore?S4: Its here.T: How can I get to the traffic lights?Ss: You turn left, go straight, turn right, go straightT: Who can help me go to the traffic lights and find the treasure?教師再請(qǐng)一名學(xué)生根據(jù)指令找寶藏。設(shè)計(jì)意圖通過Find the treasure這個(gè)游戲,學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)了turn left, turn right, go straight三個(gè)詞匯,

12、并借助教室里的模擬場(chǎng)景分清左右,慢慢學(xué)會(huì)正確指方向。同時(shí),在游戲中還進(jìn)行了新詞匯crossing的教學(xué),學(xué)生要找到寶藏,必須破解藏寶圖的密碼,從而學(xué)習(xí)了新詞匯。這種探險(xiǎn)小說里才有的尋寶活動(dòng)在課堂中進(jìn)行了演繹,學(xué)生參與熱情高漲。學(xué)習(xí)英語是為了更好地完成尋寶任務(wù),學(xué)生愿學(xué)、樂學(xué),也體現(xiàn)了任務(wù)型教學(xué)的理念。Step 3: Consolidation (6)1. 閱讀活動(dòng)T:(學(xué)生在交通燈下面找出寶藏)What is the treasure? (教師接過寶藏,在投影中展示)It is from Air China, free tickets to the USA. Ss: Wow!T: What a

13、 surprise! Do you want to go to the USA? Ss: Yes.T: But you have to pass a test first. Look at the tasks, group 1, 2 and 3 finish task one. (多媒體出示三個(gè)閱讀任務(wù),學(xué)生以小組為單位,邊讀邊在地圖上找相應(yīng)的場(chǎng)所,地圖為教室里模擬小鎮(zhèn)的平面圖。)Task example: Now, you are at the hotel. You turn left at the hotel gate, go straight, turn right at the fir

What place is on your left?2. 實(shí)踐檢驗(yàn)學(xué)生完成閱讀任務(wù)后,教師分別請(qǐng)三個(gè)不同任務(wù)的小組在模擬小鎮(zhèn)中實(shí)踐檢驗(yàn)閱讀成果。設(shè)計(jì)意圖這個(gè)閱讀活動(dòng)是對(duì)新學(xué)語言的鞏固,也為學(xué)生提供了給人指路的語言范例,為接下去的指路活動(dòng)做好了鋪墊。同時(shí),這也是訓(xùn)練學(xué)生思維的一個(gè)過程,從原來在教室里的模擬小鎮(zhèn)中找路過渡到了在平面圖上找路,思維活動(dòng)更為抽象,促進(jìn)了學(xué)生空間思維能力的發(fā)展。Step 4: Extension1.引入拓展活動(dòng) (2)T: Now, its t

Thank you, Molly.設(shè)計(jì)意圖多媒體的演示和外教的出現(xiàn)使原本的模擬情境變得更加趨于真實(shí),學(xué)生也變得更加興奮和投入。請(qǐng)外教介紹她的家鄉(xiāng)并指出去hotel的路,既是對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行了純正英語的聽力訓(xùn)練,也是給學(xué)生提供了又一次指路的語言范例。3. Find the way ( 4)T: Tomorrow, we are going to visit the zoo, the

20、farm, the theme park and the natural park. Lets find the way first, OK?Ss: OK.T: Group 1, group 2 and group 3 find the way to the zoo. 教師分配任務(wù),讓學(xué)生在地圖上找到去參觀的路線,并在小組間談?wù)摳髯缘穆肪€。設(shè)計(jì)意圖通過找路可以熟悉路線,小組間的談?wù)摻o學(xué)生最后的語言輸出提供了必要的練習(xí)時(shí)間和機(jī)會(huì),同時(shí)也是對(duì)空間思維能力的又一次訓(xùn)練。4. 幫人指路 (5)T: Have you found the way? Ss: Yes.T: (多媒體出示幾個(gè)學(xué)生熟悉的人物。)

22、計(jì)意圖通過角色扮演,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生樂于助人的好品質(zhì)。在幫人指路的過程中,實(shí)現(xiàn)了語言的輸出。5. Sing and do T: Can you find the way now? Lets go and visit these places.( 放兔子舞音樂,教師和學(xué)生邊唱邊跳,本課結(jié)束。)設(shè)計(jì)意圖在left, left, right, right的音樂聲中,使學(xué)生進(jìn)一步鞏固了左與右的方向感。在愉快的情境中結(jié)束課堂,讓學(xué)生更加喜愛英語課,并對(duì)下一堂英語課充滿了期待。Step 5: Homework完成活動(dòng)手冊(cè)P12(Look at the map and write)。畫出你家到學(xué)校的路線,并把他講給

23、你的好朋友聽。三、教學(xué)反思遵循了學(xué)生的思維發(fā)展規(guī)律小學(xué)高年級(jí)學(xué)生的思維是從形象思維過渡到抽象思維的重要階段,他們的抽象思維已經(jīng)有了一定的發(fā)展,但是抽象思維的發(fā)展很多時(shí)候還要依賴于具體、形象的事物的幫助。本節(jié)課主要讓學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)使用turn left, turn right, go straight等語言進(jìn)行問路、指路,而左轉(zhuǎn)、右轉(zhuǎn)等空間思維能力正是很多學(xué)生有待發(fā)展的抽象思維能力。因此,本節(jié)課的教學(xué)重點(diǎn)不僅只是讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)使用語言,更重要的是發(fā)展學(xué)生的空間思維能力。在教學(xué)中,我先用touch your left eye, touch your right ear, raise your left ha

24、nd, stamp your right foot等語言,讓學(xué)生在聽做中“觸摸左右”;我又用show me your left hand, turn left, show me your right hand, turn right等語言,讓學(xué)生借助左右手聽懂左轉(zhuǎn)、右轉(zhuǎn)的指令并做出正確的動(dòng)作;我再通過find the treasure的游戲,讓學(xué)生在看得見的模擬small town中用turn left,turn right,go straight等語言進(jìn)行尋寶活動(dòng);我還讓學(xué)生利用抽象的地圖進(jìn)行找路、指路等活動(dòng)。從可以觸摸的肢體活動(dòng)到看得見的模擬場(chǎng)景再到抽象的地圖,遵循了學(xué)生思維由具體到抽象的發(fā)展規(guī)律,使
