Tony正在吃一個美味的冰激凌。Damingishavinglunch.大明正在吃午飯。Weareplayingfootball.我們正在踢足球。以上例子都用了現在進行時表示正在做的事情。可以看出，現在進行時采用be+動詞-ing的形式。其中be的變化與上一單元學過的be隨人稱變化而變化的規律一樣，動詞-ing形式的變化規律如下表所示：規則示例一般情況下，動詞后直接加-ingworking,buying,visiting,talking,saying以字母e結尾的動詞，去掉e，然后加-ingtaking,having,leaving,driving,writing,making以輔音字母+元音字母+輔音字母的重讀閉音節結尾的動詞，如果末尾只有一個輔音字母，雙寫這個輔音字母，然后加-ingstopping,shopping,sitting,getting特殊變化lie-lying既然在謂語部分用了be,結合前面的例句我們不難得出：現在進行時的肯定和否定形式構成與我們學過的be的相關句式構成是一樣的，如下表所示：肯定句否定句Iamwritingaletter.Iamnotwritingaletter.He/Sheislisteningtomusic.He/Sheisnot(isn’t)listeningtomusic.Weareenjoyingourtrip.Wearenot(aren’t)enjoyingourtrip.Theyaretalkingtoeachother.Theyarenot(aren’t)talkingtoeachother.根據現在進行時的構成特點，其一般疑問句采用如下表達方式：Isshedoingherhomework?
