3、uake.T: Yes. Can you describe it?SI: Yes. The earthquake happened in the daytime.S2: Many houses fell down.S3: .T: OK. Well done! But how can we save ourselves in an earthquake? Now this lesson we will talk about an earthquake. Are you ready?設計意圖:此環節利用圖片展示,師生間的對話導入本課的話題“地震”,利用 會話將學生帶入地震現場,預熱本課的詞匯和句型
4、。Step 2: Pre-readingTeach phrases and practice the sentence patterns.Present the new words: earthquake, calm, object, system, survival, stay away from, stay calm.Show some pictures of the new words on the screen.T: Try to read these words. 6、競賽游戲的方式充分調動學生主動參與的積極性,增添了學生 語言學習的樂趣,使學生在操練中潛移默化地感知本課的詞匯和語法。讓學生 有多種感官體驗,突破本課教學重難點。Step 3 : While-readingTask 1 Scan reading(速讀).T: Boys and girls, now that you have known something about an earthquake, lets read the passage to get more about it. Please read quickly and do the Exercise 1 on Page 43.1

9、考查文章當中的細節性問題,更 深層次地理解文章。Task 3 Read the article aloud after the recorder.教師播放視頻,播放一句,暫停一次,學生觀看視頻并跟讀對話。T: Boys and girls, please read after the video and you should pay more attention to your pronunciation and intonation, try your best to imitate it, clear?設計意圖:本活動設計在讀課文兩遍后,學生對課文內容已經有了一定的了 解,跟著視頻大聲朗讀
10、課文可以加深對文章的理解,并且對于學生準確的發音 以及培養他們的語感有重要的作用。Task 4 Work in group of 8 to deal with the key words, phrases and sentences.教師把學生分為8人一組,學生通過合作探究找出大屏幕上的重點句子,并學 習。the key words, phrases and sentences:l.Stay calm as the earth begins to shake and move.當大地開始搖晃和移動時保持鎮 靜。stay calm保持鎮靜。stay此處為系動詞,意為“保持的狀態“。calm形容詞
11、,“平靜的;鎮靜的“,用在stay后作表語。2.An earthquake is dangerous, but there are things you can do to protect yourself.地震很危險,但也有一些措施可以保護你自己。本句中的to do不定式作目的狀語。3.You need to have something strong around you to protect you from falling objects.你需要周圍有結實的東西以防止下落的物體傷著你。something strong結實的東西。形容詞修飾不定代詞要后置。object名詞,“物 體,fa
12、iling objects下落的物體。4.Stay away from buildings and trees.遠離建筑物和樹。stay away from 遠離。5.1f you are close to the sea, try to get as far away from the water as possible.如果你離大海很近,盡可能地遠離水。as.as possible 盡可能, 相當于 as.as sb. can。6. Your chances of survival in an earthquake go up if you stay calm.如果你保持鎮靜,在地震中逃生
