(though)(即使),as(盡管,即使),even
if
(though)(即使),however(盡管),whatever(不論);no
matter
(how,
what,
where,
when)(不論(怎樣、什么、哪里、何時))等。although和though在意義上沒有區分,但although語氣上要強一些,所以更慣用于句首。比如:Although

poor,
he

honest.
他即使窮,不過老實。GrammarFocus(2)第40頁although和though都表示“即使”,但although比though正式,更多用于句首;二者都可與yet,still或nevertheless連用,但不能和but連用:
