雅思復議勝利與否官方沒有詳細說明，考生在考慮是否申請雅思復議前，需要留意以下狀況：

1.考生可以參考平常的復習狀況及模擬考試成果，不過這僅是參考，詳細考試由于緊急或者馬虎影響發揮的可能也是存在的;

2.考生可以參考總體的雅思分數，一般來說，假如不是某項偏科特殊嚴峻，正常來說，聽說讀寫四項的分數最大差是2分，假如超過2分，如聽說讀寫分別是8.5、7.5分、5分、6分，考生可以申請復議。

3.英國文化訓練協會在收到雅思成果單原件后，會講復議材料提交給復議考官重判，考官將結合現場考試試卷，答題紙，口語錄音等全部材料進行復議，整個復議流程大約是4-6周。成果結果將以書面形式告知。

4.關于復議結果及復議費用：假如在復議過程中有任意一項的分數得到提高，則表示復議勝利，考生將得到一張新的雅思成果單，復議費用原路退回到考生賬戶;如復議結果維持不變或成果降低，則成果單上的成果維持不變，復議費用不退回。
