While many IEEE Societies have similar programs, the SPS provides financial support for the Chapters to take advantage of the service. 4Distinguished Lecturer ProgramThe

9、to $1,750 per year from the Society Chapters account to defray Lecturer travel expenses. For speakers who are not Society Distinguished Lecturers but who are pre-approved by the Program Coordinator, up to $1,750 per year from the Society Chapters account may be available to help defray speaker trave

10、l expense. 11Speaker Expenses Joint chapters are only eligible for the partial funding:If a chapter is joint with another society, SPS pays only half of the expensesIf a chapter is joint with another two societies, SPS pays only a third of the expensesTravel costsEconomic (coach) flight fareAdvanced
