1、Unit 24 The science of farming一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)與要求通過本單元教學(xué),繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)、穩(wěn)固有關(guān)直接引語(yǔ)和間接引語(yǔ)的內(nèi)容。學(xué)生應(yīng)能熟練地把直接引語(yǔ)轉(zhuǎn)換為間接引語(yǔ)。復(fù)習(xí)有關(guān)談?wù)撎鞖獾脑掝},能熟練的描述各種天氣。通過對(duì)課文的學(xué)習(xí),讓學(xué)生了解我國(guó)歷史上農(nóng)業(yè)開展的情況,并能用英語(yǔ)進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單描述。二、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)與難點(diǎn)1重點(diǎn)詞匯develop;experience;knock out of;point out;turn over;go against;a-gree to do ;now and then2重要句型 1The soil should also be turned over wit

4、生提出以下問題:1Have you ever been to a farmbefore?2When we talk about the farm,what words can you think of?可將學(xué)生給出的詞語(yǔ)列在黑板上,借以復(fù)習(xí)相關(guān)詞匯。如學(xué)生沒提及天氣情況,教師可用問題加以引導(dǎo):Good!Youve given me a lot of words that have something to do with farm-ingWhat about the weather?Do you think that weather is important in farming?Why?2準(zhǔn)

5、備放對(duì)話錄音。借助投影片打出以下聽前提問:1Whats the weather like for thenext two days?2Whats the weather going to be like at the weekend?放錄音一至兩遍,請(qǐng)學(xué)生答復(fù)上述問題,教師予以必要訂正。Key:1Its going to be dry and sunny for the next two days2Its going to be wet andwindy3再次放對(duì)話錄音,學(xué)生跟讀。將學(xué)生分為兩人一組練習(xí)對(duì)話。數(shù)分鐘后,請(qǐng)兩、三組同學(xué)到前面表演。教師指導(dǎo)學(xué)生歸納在本課中有關(guān)談?wù)撎鞖馇闆r的常用語(yǔ)句

6、見日常交際用語(yǔ)局部,并提供新的情景,由學(xué)生編小對(duì)話。情景1:You are supposed to plant trees with your classmates tomorrowNow you aretalking about the weather reports with your classmates and discuss what to do if it rains to-morrow情景2:You and your friends are planning a trip to the country by bike this coming Sun-dayFrom the wea

7、ther reports you already know that it is going to be fine in the morningand there will be a strong wind in the afternoonTalk with your friends and make a careful plan about your trip經(jīng)數(shù)分鐘練習(xí)后,教師可請(qǐng)幾位同學(xué)到前面進(jìn)行表演,教師予以講評(píng)。4要求學(xué)生將該課對(duì)話以狄克為第一人稱的角度,改寫為一篇短文。教師可給予必要的提示。提示語(yǔ):1a farmer,living in England;2beautiful day
