1、英語語音語調音素是音的最小單位，英語共有48個音素，其中元音音素20個，輔音音素28個。元音(vowels)：發音時氣流從肺部泄出，不受任何阻礙，在鼻腔和口腔中暢通無阻不帶任何摩擦，這樣發出的音叫元音。輔音(consonants):氣流通過口腔或鼻腔時受到某種阻礙發出的音叫輔音；輔音有清輔音和濁輔音之分。 英語元音有20個單元音有12個, 按發音時舌頭前、中、后哪一部分抬得最高可分為:前元音 /i:/ see /i/ big /e/ egg /æ/ bag中元音 / about /:/ word / bus后元音 /a:/ ask / want /:/ short /u/ good

10、。例如：æpl， bet，ju:niv:siti。¡ 句子重音：句子是由單詞組成的。一般來說，句子中的實詞（如：名詞、動詞、形容詞、副詞、數詞等）都需要重讀；有時根據句子要表達的意思，需要特別強調的部分往往也需要重讀。也就是說，句子重音可能是句子的每個部分。 例如：I cant finish this job.¡ 在連貫地說話或朗讀時，在同一個意群（即短語或從句）中，如果相鄰的兩個詞前者以輔音音素結尾，后者以元音音素開頭，就要自然地將輔音和元音相拼，構成一個音節，這就是連讀。如:¡ ImanEnglish boy. ¡ Let me havea

14、去爆破，即做出要爆破的動作，形成閉塞但不爆破出來。例如：act two, good picture, a short night。 ¡ 如果爆破音（/p/, /b/, /t/, /d/, /k/, /g/） 后面直接跟的是摩擦音/f/, /v/, /s/, /z/, /W/, /T/, /F/, /V/時這個爆破音會有很輕微的爆破，即不完全爆破。例如：breakfast, advice, exciting, help this man, lift the veil。 ¡ 在一些常見單詞中，在非重讀章節上的一些音常常會被省略。例如：history, interesting,

15、handkerchief, castle。 ¡ 在標準的美國英語中，/h/前如果有別的輔音，/h/也常常被省略。例如：yoghurt, tell her, like him。 話語節奏：重讀音節和非重讀音節交替出現的現象。英語的節奏規律是以重音定時的，即重讀音節彼此距離相等。Eg: bread and milk (O o O) 和 some bread and some milk (o O o o O)，兩者的重讀音節數相同，因此朗讀兩者的時間大致相等。語調（intonation），即說話的腔調，就是一句話里通過聲調高低抑揚輕重的配制和變化，表達出說話人的態度或口氣。英語有五種基本語
