What does he look like ?Section A Period 1(1a-1c)嵐縣上明中學(xué) 溫金花一、教學(xué)目標(biāo):1、知識(shí)目標(biāo):.單詞:hair,curly,long, short, straight , height, tall, medium, thin,heavy,build.句型: - What does he/she look like? -He/She is tall and has long hair.-What do you look like? -Im thin2、語言技能. 讓學(xué)生能積極思維,在生活中靈活運(yùn)用所學(xué)單詞,短語及句型。. 使學(xué)生能概括人物的外貌特征或根據(jù)人物特征描述來判斷猜出是某一人物。. 學(xué)藝即用,使學(xué)生能利用所學(xué)知識(shí)與同學(xué)們共同探討,互相交流,從而能替自己和別人進(jìn)行新形象的設(shè)計(jì)。3、情感態(tài)度.通過對(duì)同學(xué)、教師或自己偶像友好地外貌描述,讓學(xué)生在人際交往中能多發(fā)現(xiàn)別人的優(yōu)點(diǎn),從而學(xué)會(huì)理解他人、尊重他人、讓學(xué)生真正懂得心靈美才是最美,千萬不要以貌取人。. 在完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)的前提下,同學(xué)間的積極協(xié)作,團(tuán)結(jié)互助,不僅增強(qiáng)了學(xué)生的情誼,還能在提高英語的同時(shí)共同盡情享受學(xué)習(xí)的樂趣。4、文化意識(shí)(1)、加強(qiáng)中西方文化知識(shí)的滲透,了解文化背景的不同決定了在同一個(gè)事物表達(dá)觀點(diǎn)上差異的存在我們比較委婉,而西方人則更直接。(2)、提高學(xué)生賞美能力和審美能力,在掌握外貌描述的知識(shí)背景下,實(shí)現(xiàn)跨學(xué)科的交流。二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn):教學(xué)重點(diǎn): 掌握本課新單詞和句型及怎樣描述一個(gè)人的外貌。教學(xué)難點(diǎn):(1)新詞匯的運(yùn)用,特別是has與is的正確使用,是本節(jié)課的一個(gè)難點(diǎn)。(2)掌握描述人物外貌的方法。三、教學(xué)方法(1)情景交際法:(2)任務(wù)型語言教學(xué)法:(3)開放性教學(xué)策略:四、教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì):Step I Leading-in Show a photo of the teachers family and describe about their height / build / hairstyles . Let students understand the words in the class . e g: short /long/ no hair ; tall / short / medium height ; fat ( heavy)/ thin / medium build. Step II Presentation: Play the game : I have a dream .1、On the photo of family ,point out the teacher wants to have a new look and asks students to choose a hairstyle to fit .Teach some new knowledge about hairstyle and write them on the Bb: What does she/ he look like?She / He has short hair / straight hair / curly hair / long hair .2、Let students design new hairstyle, then tell students the teacher s choice : “I want to have the same hairstyle as Zhao Wei.” Finally show the photo of Zhao Wei, then practice and point : 描述發(fā)型 :漂亮+ 長(zhǎng)短+ 形狀+ 顏色+ 頭發(fā) What does she look like ? She has beautiful long straight black hair .3、Show two pictures on the screen and introduce friends to students . Jim is tall ;Tom is of medium height ;Jack is short ; Lucy is fat (heavy); Mary is of medium build ; Alice is thin . 4、Practice :播放劉祥的視頻,讓學(xué)生通過觀察后能互相提問并描述出其外貌特征。)(1)、What does he look like ? He is tall/ of medium height / short .(height)(2)、What does she look like ?She is fat/ of medium build / thin .( build )Step III Summery : 描述人物的句型: 1、 人物+be+形容詞(身高/體型):be + tall/short /of medium height + heavy/thin / of medium build2、人物+have/has+形容詞(發(fā)型)have / has + short hair/long hair + straight/curly hair Step Practice : 1、Teacher-student interaction:The teacher makes a dialogue with a student. And ask other students to guess the person you describe. 2、 Pair work :Before class , ask students to bring some pictures and photos .Ask two students to read the sample conversation to the class. What does he/ she look like ? She / He is . She / He has .3、Group work : 課堂上分小組, 描述班上任意某個(gè)人的外貌和個(gè)性,讓全班同學(xué)猜一猜他(她)是誰。任務(wù)布置下去后, 同學(xué)們馬上投入到緊張的討論中去了。Step Do 1A Now please look at P41, Use the letters to match the people in the picture with one of the numbered words.
