The Assistant Teacher reports to the Core Teachers and liais

2、es with the Primary School Faculty, PYP coordinator, VP Academics Student Life and Head of School. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Assists the teacher with regular lessons and activities using different collaborative models 2. Assists in planning when required to by the Core Teacher. 3. Sup

3、ervises or leads small-group activities. 4. Assists individual students as needed (English/Chinese language support, etc) 5. Takes and collects children from specialist lessons. 6. Administers basic first aid or brings children to the clinic for medical attention. 7. Performs playground supervision

4、according to the weekly schedule. 8. Supervises the class when teacher is not in the room 9. Supervises students off-site on school trips and other external visits. 10.Translates for parents conferences as needed. 11. Checks student work that is assigned by the teacher. 12. Prepares various teaching

5、 aids (e.g. organize centers, posters, educational games, etc). 13. Assists in the maintenance of the classroom organization (e.g. tidying, filing, etc). 14. Prepares and presents displays of students work. 15. Helps maintain an up to date inventory of classroom materials. 16. Leads or helps organiz
