1、Unit6 When was it invented? 教學內容、目標與要求 題目When was it invented?題材內容本單元要是圍繞著“Inventions”這個話題,通過熟悉我們周圍經常使用發明物的歷史來開闊眼界,豐富自己的閱歷,使自己養成勤于思考,善于總結的好習慣;學習并掌握被動語態的有關知識:學習Mind-mapping 的閱讀策略。語言知識目標功能用被動語態談論發明的歷史語法被動語態詞匯invent, mistake, ancient, produce, pleasant, pie, throw, century, notice, including, knock, ba

4、造了豐富的物質文明。2、培養學生的創造發明的能力和愿望。任務Learn to use imagination to invent things to deal with problems and do role plays。 教學內容分析 本單元以Inventions為話題,共設計了四個部分的內容:Section A 該部分有4個模塊:第一模塊圍繞When and in what order were they invented? 這一話題展開討論(1a)、聽力(1b)、口語(1c)訓練;第二模塊圍繞3個inventions 進行聽力(2a-2b)、口語(2c)訓練;第三模塊繼續圍繞inven
5、tions這一話題展開訓練,要求列出兩類不同的發明(3a)并以pair work形式對此展開討論和對話訓練(3b);第四模塊設置情景alone on a tiny island,以小組活動形式討論在該情景下什么inventions重要及原因。這部分主要訓練口語、學生處理問題的思維能力和想象力。Section B該部分有4個模塊:第一模塊是詞匯的學習(1a)與運用(1b);第二模塊圍繞the history of chips繼續進行聽力(2a-2b)、口語(2c)訓練;第三模塊圍繞Who invented tea?這一話題展開閱讀理解(3a),并要求學生能夠以“From pie plate to
6、 flying disk”為題目進行應用寫作訓練(3b);第四模塊以inventions這一話題訓練學生的創造力、解決問題的能力和想象力(4a), 并且以小組討論和角色扮演(4b)的形式展開口語訓練。Self check該部分有2個模塊:第一模塊對所學詞匯進行填空訓練(1);第二模塊要求就不同的inventions搜集信息并進行寫作訓練(2)。Reading該部分共設置了5項任務:第一項任務以問題討論的方式激活學生相關背景知識(Section 1);第二項任務要求學生通過快速閱讀獲取信息(Section 2);第三項任務利用填圖、回答問題等練習形式進一步加深學生對閱讀內容的理解(Section
7、 3);第四項任務要求學生對“play on Chinas national basketball team one day”問題發表觀點、進行口語訓練(Section 4);第五項任務要求學生對某一項發明進行調查研究。 教學過程設計 采用Role playing和Discussion 的學習策略。充分利用多媒體等教學設備,設計與本課話題相關的情景,如不同種類的發明,人物,實物等等。圍繞著本單元的教學目標,設計一些貼近學生實際的教學任務,讓學生談論身邊的發明如電話、電腦、汽車、茶葉、籃球以及一些當代發明的看法;讓學生根據所學知識,自己進行創新設計等等。課時計劃:建議本單元用五課時來完成:第一課
8、時:Section A:1a,1b,1c,2a,2b,2c第二課時:Section A:3a,3b,4第三課時:Section B:1a,1b,2a,2b,2c,3a第四課時:Section B:3b,4a,4b and Self check第五課時:Reading第一課時:Section A (1)一、 教材分析1、 教材簡析 此課為本單元的第一節課,主要談論東西的發明時間、發明者和東西的用途,它圍繞著以下 三個話題展開: When was it invented? Who was it invented by? What was it used for?2、 教學目標 知識目標: When

It is used for doing sth. 能力目標:發展學生的聽及識記能力,培養學生綜合語言運用 能力。 情感、態度和價值觀:讓學生對身邊所發明的事物有所認識和了解,激發學生對創造發明的興趣。3、 重點和難點 重點句子:When was it invented? It was invented in. Who was it invented by? It was invented
10、 by.What was it used for? It is used for doing sth. 難點:被動語態的構成和用法4、 教學輔助工具:錄音機,圖片二、 學情分析 學生在學習第三單元時對被動語態已經有了初步的認識,并能運用該語態來表達一些簡單的句子,為本單元的學習打下了一個較好的基礎。三、 教學方法 本課采用任務型教學法,用When was it invented?這個問句,引出談論有關發明情況的話題。 采用提問、啟發和歸納的教法,讓學生易于接受教材內容,培養學生的語言運用能力。四、 教學過程設計 環節
