11、都慢慢地見怪不怪了。每當看到耿老爹高高興興地呼喚著尚文兄妹三人上街逛游,或是下地干活兒時,大家都會報以友善的微笑,并不指指點點說些什么。大家相互傳說著,都已經知道了事情的原委,內心里邊很為這個不幸的耿老爹由內而外迸發出來的偉大父愛而深深地感動了,并且也非常贊賞李長善一家人的感恩之心和博大胸懷,背地里都在豎起大拇指言贊他們呢!想到鄱陽湖周圍有些名氣的郎中都已經請遍了,但這位耿大哥仍然還是這個樣子,李家開始有些失望了。加之近日來李長善的腰腿疼舊疾復發,行動非常不便。更重要的是,愿意接手醫治耿老爹這個病癥的郎中越來越少了。李長善夫婦倆終于無奈地決定,放棄繼續為這位好心人的,就讓他高高興興得和自己心目
12、中的兒女們,一直像現在這樣愉快地生活下去吧!艱難地做出了這個決定之后,李家夫妻倆一直想找機會和自己的三個孩子說一些話,但無奈三個孩子和耿老爹在一起的時間,總是比和自己的父母在一起的時間多得多,大家湊在一起就更不容易了。且說耿老爹看到李長善腰腿疼舊疾復發行動不便已經多日了,但還不見他請人醫治,就對他說:“我沒有病,李大哥你還老是請郎中給我治病。你現在真得有病了,怎么就不請個郎中來看看啊?”李長善說:“我這是老毛病了,以前也看過的,沒有用啊!耿大哥你放心,這個老毛病啊,過些日子自己就會全好了的!”耿老爹只好說:“那你就放心歇著吧,家里地里的活計,有我和正兒他們干就行了!”李長善感激地說:“那就有勞耿大哥了啊!放心,我會安心養病的!”那日一早起來,耿老爹見行動更加不便的李大哥隨手拿了一根核桃粗細的木頭棍兒拄著走路,就對他說:“李大哥,這木頭棍兒拄著多不應手,不如讓我給你做個好使的拐杖用吧!”李長善一聽這耿
