3、t represents their interest so they should support him.It is well organized and highly rhetorical. It is mostly persuasion with very little explanation. As the address is generally short it has to rely chiefly on a successful appeal to emotions for it doesnt have time enough to cite facts and reason

4、s which could convince.整理課件Besides figures of speech and appropriate use of words, parallel and balanced structures, repetition of important words and phrases, and antithesis(rhetorical use of strongly contrasted words) are employed for forces, vividness and emotional appeal. The key to writing good

5、 speeches lies in using a theme. If you always refer back to this theme, the audience will respond positively and remember your words. 7、45, 1951-1956). His writings include The World Crisis (1923-1929), The Second World War (1948-1953), and A History of the English-Speaking peoples (1956-1958). Italy entred the war on the side of Germany and formed the Axis on June 10, 1940 shortly before the collapse of France and the signing of the amristice on June 22, 1940. On June 22,1941 the Alis powers attacked

9、 the former Soviet Union, and on Dec.7, 1941 the Japanese attacked the US at Pearl Harbor. Italy surrendered on Sept. 8, 1943, and the war in Europe and on May 7, 1945 with the3 unconditional surrender of the Germans. The Japanese capitulated on Aug.14, 1945 shortly after the dropping of atom bombs
