thewisdomofeachperson.Weanalyzedallthesecomparisonstoworkoutthehiddendimensionstheparticipants
relieduponandcalculatedtheweighttheygavetothesedimensionswheninferringthewisdomofthesecharacters.
Ourfindingsrevealedthatwhenpeoplemakejudgmentsaboutwisdom,theyessentiallylinkwisdomtotwokey
dimensions-reflectiveorientation(反思性建構)andsocialemotionalawareness.Reflectiveorientationinvolves
logic,reason,controloveremotions,andtheapplicationofpastexperiences.Ontheotherhand,socialemotional
awarenessinvolvescaringforothers,activelistening,andtheabilitytoadapttocomplexsocialsituations.Thetwo
dimensionsarecloselyrelated,andpeoplethinkaboutbothofthemwhendeterminingwhethertolabelacharacter
