二、知識梳理

“完形填空”概述

完形填空通過有目的、有計劃地破壞短文中段與段、句與句之間內在的邏輯關系,在語篇中測試學生的綜合語言運

用能力。初中完形填空短文難度適中,長度一般在120-260詞之間,留出10-15個空白處,每空1分。設空注重在語

境中考查詞義。備選答案四個(單詞為主、詞組為輔),一般屬同一詞類,同一范疇,而且往往都與前后的詞構成

某種搭配,有很大的迷惑性和干擾性。

1.“完形填空”的題型

完形填空體裁以記敘文為主,題材涉及日常生活、人物故事、社會人文。選材新穎、語言地道、注重材料的思想性

和趣味性。首句保持完整,不挖空,給學生留出一個完整的信息句。主要考查實詞,包括動詞、名詞、形容詞和副

詞,虛詞考查為輔。

2.“完形填空”的考查能力

要求考生在理解全文大意的基礎上,從詞義辨析、詞語搭配、詞法和句法等方面做發散性思維,此外還考查篇章理

解能力、邏輯推理和分析判斷能力,即在整體理解的基礎上,分別利用前暗示、后暗示和綜合分析,聯系上下文和

常識做合乎邏輯的分析與判斷。

完形填空的解題策略

1.解題步驟

1),重視首尾,把握全文首先瀏覽文章的首句和尾句,把握文章大意。

2).跳空猜讀,了解大意“跳空速讀”,邊猜邊想,弄清各段落、各層次之間的內在聯系。具體方法是:不看

選項,憑語感,依上傍下,通讀全文,在整體層面上領悟“殘缺的”語篇大意,初步猜選出淺易的答案,若恰好是選

項之一或是其同義詞,則十有八九是正確答案。

3).瞻前顧后,領悟語境完形填空試題在選項的設置上越來越注重語境,逐步淡化了語法,即把具體的語言

知識融入具體的語言情景中去,通過上下文的前后提示或暗示,以此來考查考生對文章的整體把握能力。解題時要

快速瀏覽全文,領悟文章主旨,通過上下文語境來選擇答案。先易后難,對有把握的選項“一錘定音”;若有的選項

沒有把握,可暫時先擱一下,往下看,往往會“柳暗花明”。

4).復讀全文,全面驗證做完題目后,不管對全文是否已有豁然開朗之感,或還是依然似懂非懂,都要復讀全

文,驗證答案。復查時要從語篇層次和語法層次兩個角度考慮。特別要注意,是選擇“最佳”而不只是“正確”答案。

在檢查時要注意:(1)上下文的一致性。(2)從語義、慣用法及詞性搭配,甚至語感入手,看是否符合上下文邏

輯。

2.完形填空解題技巧

1).確認關鍵詞,理順思考線索短文中句與句、段與段之間往往有表達其內在聯系的短語和邏輯關系詞,

如連接詞、代詞、插入語、轉折詞等,它們是提供語境的關鍵詞,具有因果、讓步、遞進、轉折、列舉、承上啟下

的特殊功能。如表示并列關系的詞有:and,or等;表不轉折關系的有:but,while,however等;表示因果關系的有:

because,so,as,since,becauseof等;表示條件關系的有:if,whether等;表示順序關系的有:first,second,finally,then,

next等;表示時間關系的有now,later,before,after,when,yet等。在答題時,若能“慧眼識詞”,就能迅速理清文章脈

絡,抓準主旨大意。

例1:Chineseisalsodifficultforme,butweshouldn't.

Keys:首先確認but這個關鍵詞,在句中是個轉折關系的語篇標志語。再根據短語辨析,A項表示放棄;B項表示拒

批注:抓住關鍵詞,找出前后句之間的聯系。

2).把握上下文的內在聯系,確定最佳選項

完形填空題的邏輯性很強,前后內容往往相互照應或相互限定。忽視上下文的信息提示是學生常犯的錯誤。若單憑

一句句、一段段孤立地作答,結果必定會出現連鎖反應,一錯再錯,錯連一串。因此,考生在做完形填空的過程中,

應學會邊讀邊在大腦中儲藏上下文的信息。信息提示有時在前,有時在后。

批注:整體把握文章,不要孤立地看每一段或某一句,要瞻前顧后。

3).根據詞語固定搭配和習慣用法解題

詞的慣用法與固定搭配是完形填空題考查的重點之一,答題時要多從慣用語和固定搭配的角度去考慮問題,特別

是動詞的用法和各種搭配關系。平時要多讀、多記,對所學習語或固定搭配牢固掌握,并能靈活運用。

例3:“Tostopsomeonefromstealingthetrees,I1themupsixdaysago.Ihavehidden(藏)themforalmostaweek!”

Keys::考生只要弄懂up在這里與pull搭配,表示“拔起來”,就可以迅速選B。

批注:多積累固定搭配,固定句型,注意區分相近短語的意思和用法差異。

4).利用語法分析解題

完形填空中也有題目是考查語法知識的。解答這類題,不僅要理解上下文的邏輯關系,更要有針對性地對語法結

構、句式特點,對短文中所設空格中需填的詞在句子里作何成分,哪類詞合適,應采取什么形式等進行必要的分析

思考,以便迅速解題。比如,選用動詞就要考慮各種時態、語態、語氣及如何與其它詞類配合使用等一系列問題。

批注:平時要注意語法知識的積累。

5).排除錯誤,正確選擇

有時碰到某個選項含義或用法不甚明了,但發現其它選項有顯而易見的錯誤,這時可用排除法:按空格位置,從語

法結構、詞語搭配、習慣用法、上下文意思、詞義辨析等方面,對選項逐項檢查驗證,排除干擾項,從而確定正確

答案。

Keys::根據上下文可得知:盡管她母親年紀越來越大了,卻還一直在尋找她的女兒。lookedover忽視,忽略,looked

批注:先把顯而易見的錯誤答案或不合理答案排除掉,再綜合分析解題。

6).研讀細節,準確認定語境,擺脫定向思維干擾

有時學習方法不當,老師又對某些知識點進行了過度強調,就會盲目就“空”論“空”。如看到自己比較熟悉的句子、

短語等語法結構,便不假思索地去選,正好“誤入歧途”。其實,從出題特點來看,每個選擇項并不是一種單純的詞

匯辨析,因為從語法角度分析,每個選項都正確,而能否恰如其分地傳達文意才是解題的關鍵。

例6:Onemorning,Suewasridingherbiketoschool.Shewaslate,soshedecidedtotakeashortcut(捷徑).Butshemade

批注:時刻不要忘記自己在解題不是在出題,要根據作者的表達意思來解題。

7).發揮邏輯思維能力,挖掘文章寓意、隱意

近年來完形填空以敘事為主,內容貼近生活,表層意思易于理解,所以容易給學生造成一種假象,產生輕敵心理。

因此,解題時不僅要明確文章的表層意義,更要挖掘文章的深層含義,做到“表里如一”。

3、完形填空解題原則

1)首句重點讀。首句很多情況下是topicsentence,告知文章的背景和主旨。首句一般不設空,如果首句設空,需

要重點讀后面的例子,例子會提供解題線索,很多考題都是用后面的例子印證首句。

例如:Thesedays,itisforchildrenasyoungasSammytobesogoodatcomputers.ManyChildrenusecomputersat

homeoratschoolandsomeschoolsevenhavetheirownwebsites.

Keys:C,根據后面說許多孩子在家或者在學校使用電腦,有些學校甚至有他們自己的網址。由此可知上面一空應該

2)重點關注例子與例子之間的關系。幾個例子聯合起來都是去證明文章主旨的,但例子與例子間有時會有正反對比

或是平行關系。

例如:Ifthetesttakeranswers,thenextitemwillbemoredifficult.Ifheorsheanswersincorrectly,thenext

questionwillbeeasier.

Keys:C,根據后文說如果他或她回答不正確,下個問題將會更簡單,由此可知讓問題越來越難肯定是前面回答正確了。

3)選詞重視“具體表達”、“最佳適用原則”。

4)選詞之場景原則。

5)平行原則的運用。完形填空的文章很多時候是圍繞一個話題展開,有些情況下每個段落的發展模式都是差不多的。

前面提到如果首句設空,除了關注到后面的例子,還不妨關注下一段首句或者再下下段首句。類似的,如果某段的

末句設空,不妨也可以關注下后面一段的末句。例如有一篇文章是討論積極態度給生活、工作、健康帶來的好處,

其中第二段末句這么寫:

Withanactive,youcanovercomeallthedifficulties.在第三段末句出現了withanactiveattitude,youcanbe

healthy.如果學生在閱讀的時候關注到這句,使用了“平行原則”,自然就能填出attitude.
