souls.Wewerewalkingwithourminds.
Together,wewereimpressedbythebiodiversityoftheGaoligongMountains.AsI
walkedonancientpathsthroughmountains,Iseemedtoheartheantiquevoicesofpast
travelersurgingmetobecarefulontheroad.
Lookingbackonthemorethan200milesIwalkedwithPaul,Icametoa
realization.Walkingforitsownsake,whilehealthyandadmirable,isonlyasmallpart
ofthebenefitofmovingwithourfeet.Adeeperrewardisrediscoveringtheworld
aroundus,shorteningthedistancebetweeneachother,andsharingeachother’s
cultures.
