KobeEarthquakeMemorialMuseumisdevotedtotheeventsandaftermathoftheKobe

Earthquake,amagnitude(震級)7.3earthquakethatoccurredat5:46amonJanuary17,1995.Over6,

000peoplelosttheirliveswiththemajorityoftheminKobe,justtothenorthofAwajiIsland.The
