Firstly,therole-playactivitywasahighlight.Itwaswonderfultoseethestudentsstepintothecharacters'shoesandbringthestorytolife.Theyreallyseemedtoenjoyactingoutthescenes,anditgavethemachancetopracticethenewvocabularyandsentencestructuresinafunandinteractiveway.Icouldseetheirconfidencegrowingastheyspoke,anditwasclearthattheywereinternalizingthelanguage.
However,Inoticedthatsomestudentswereabitshyanddidn'tparticipateasactivelyasothers.Ineedtothinkaboutwaystoencouragethosestudentstojoinin.MaybeIcouldpairthemupwithmoreoutgoingstudents,orperhapsgivethemsmaller,lessintimidatingrolestostartwith.
