20世紀80年代以來鄉村宗族復興及其對村治的影響的開題報告【Abstract】Thispaperfocusesontherevivalofruralclanssincethe1980sanditsimpactonvillagegovernanceinChina.Itaimstoexplorehowclanorganizationshavebeenrevitalizedinthecountrysidethroughthechangesinsocial,politicalandeconomiccontexts,andhowthesechangeshaveaffectedlocalgovernancestructuresandprocesses.Byreviewingcurrentliterature,analyzingempiricaldataandconductingcasestudies,thepaperintendstoprovideacomprehensiveunderstandingofthephenomenonandofferinsightsforruraldevelopmentandgovernance.【Keywords】ruralclans;revival;villagegovernance;China【Introduction】TherevivalofruralclanshasemergedasasignificanttrendinChina'scountrysidesincethe1980s.Afternearlyfourdecadesofpoliticalcampaignsandinstitutionalreformsthataimedtoeliminatetraditionalsocialorganizations,clanorganizationshaveresurfacedasimportantactorsinruralcommunities.Accordingtorecentstudies,therearetensofthousandsofclanorganizationsinChina'scountryside,rangingfromsmallfamily-basedgroupstolargerregionalassociations.Theyareinvolvedinawiderangeofactivities,suchasculturalpreservation,socialnetworking,welfareprovision,andevenpoliticalmobilization.Therevivalofruralclanshasprofoundimplicationsforvillagegovernance,whichhasbeenacontestedissueinChineseruralpolitics.Villagegovernancereferstothemanagementandcoordinationofpublicaffairsinruralareas,includinglanduse,publicinfrastructure,socialwelfare,andenvironmentalprotection.Sincethe1980s,Chinahascarriedoutaseriesofinstitutionalreformsaimedatdecentralizingpowerfromthecentralgovernmenttolocalcommunities.Aspartofthisprocess,ithasestablishedasystemofvillageself-governance,whichentrustslocalvillagerswiththeresponsibilityofmanagingtheirownaffairs.However,thissystemhasfacedmanychallenges,includingcorruption,powerabuse,andfactionalism.Againstthisbackdrop,therevivalofruralclanshasimplicationsfortheorganizationandoperationofvillagegovernance.Ontheonehand,clanorganizationsofferapotentialsourceofsocialcapitalforlocalgovernance,astheycanprovideanetworkoftrust,reciprocity,andsocialsupport.Ontheotherhand,theymayalsounderminevillagedemocracy,astheycanreinforcetraditionalhierarchies,excludeoutsiders,andfosterhorizontalconflicts.【LiteratureReview】TherevivalofruralclansinChinahasattractedattentionfromscholarsinvariousdisciplines,includingsociology,anthropology,politicalscience,andhistory.Somescholarsemphasizetheculturalandsymbolicsignificanceofclanorganizations,arguingthattheyrepresentaformofculturalresistanceagainstthedominantdiscourseofstate-ledmodernization(Yang,1994;Yan,2003).Othersfocusonthefunctionalandpracticalaspectsofclanorganizations,highlightingtheirroleinestablishingsocialnetworks,mobilizingresources,andprovidingpublicgoods(Fu,2012;Wang,2015).Moreover,scholarshavealsoexaminedtheimplicationsofclanrevivalforlocalgovernance.Somearguethatclanorganizationscanserveasaformofhorizontalgovernance,complementingtheverticalgovernanceofthestateandpromotinggrassrootsparticipation(Yan,2003;Li,2012).Otherscautionthatclanorganizationscanposeachallengetovillagedemocracy,astheymayexcludenon-members,promotenepotism,andfosterfactionalism(He,2014;Mou,2017).【ResearchQuestions】Thispaperaimstoaddressthefollowingresearchquestions:1.Howhaveruralclanorganizationsbeenrevitalizedinthecontextofsocial,politicalandeconomicchangessincethe1980s?2.HowhaveruralclanorganizationsaffectedlocalgovernancestructuresandprocessesinChina'scountryside?3.WhataretheimplicationsofruralclanrevivalforruraldevelopmentandgovernanceinChina?【Methodology】Thispaperwilladoptaninterdisciplinaryapproach,drawingonvarioustheoreticalframeworksfromsociology,anthropology,politicalscience,andhistory.Itwillemployaqualitativeresearchdesign,usingmultiplemethods,suchasliteraturereview,documentanalysis,andcasestudies.ThecasestudieswillbeconductedinseveralruralcommunitiesindifferentregionsofChina,tocapturethediversityandcomplexityofruralclanorganizationsandtheirimpactonlocalgovernance.【ExpectedContributions】Thispaperaimstomakethefollowingcontributions:1.ToprovideacomprehensiveunderstandingofthephenomenonofruralclanrevivalinChina;2.Toexaminetheimpactofclanorganizationsonvillagegovernancestructuresandprocesses,highlightingbothp
