1、Festivals教學案例達 萍一、教學目標:1、能力目標: 1) 交流自己對節日的喜好; 2) 介紹中西方主要節日;2、知識目標 : 掌握Can you tell me about festivals? Yes. My favourite is . When is it? Its in . What do you eat? I eat . What do you do? I .3、情感目標:通過對比中西方節日,培養學生跨文化交際意識;4、學習策略: 引導學生在學習過程中注重啟發式、合作式學習和任務式教學方法以及創新能力的培養;5、文化目標: 了解中西方國家的主要節日。二、教學重點:1、掌握單

2、詞:special, hear ,together and nearly.2、掌握句子:Can you tell me about festivals?和Thanksgiving is an American festivals.三、教學難點:1、能夠用英語描述感恩節的來歷及習俗。2、掌握特殊疑問句When? What?的用法及其回答。四、學生和內容分析:學生有一定的語言學習的基礎,但是在英語學習中,教師仍然需要發揮自己的個性魅力來幫助學生克服學習障礙。本課主要學習感恩節,針對學生對西方節日的好奇我布置了一個任務,讓他們調查彼此喜歡的節日以及原因,這樣他們就可以在交際中學習,在交際中運用。五、

3、教學方法:愉快教學法,講授法,模仿練習法相結合。并且倡導任務式教學法,注重“雙主”作用(教師的主導作用和學生的主體作用)。六、教學手段:動靜、講練結合,提高效率。兩人聯系與小組討論相結合。七、教學過程:I. Warmer(熱身活動)1. Ask and answer : T: Whats the date today? Ss: Today is September 12th. T: Hello. Boys and girls! Today well learn “ Festivals” Teacher show it to the blackboard. Then the students r

4、ead and spell it.T: There is a very important festival. Its nearly here. Can you tell me the name of it?S1: Mid-Autumn Festival.T: When is it? S1: Its in September. T: What do you eat? S1: I eat .T: What do you do? S1: I .活動意圖:通過問候日期導入中秋節,讓學生復習學過的日期和食物。2. Talk about Chinese festivals.T: Can you tell

5、 me more about Chinese festivals? Ss give the list and T show them on the screen. And asks “When is it? What do you eat?” the Spring Festival - in January or February I eat jiaozi. 活動意圖:通過一個節日使學生聯想到其他的中國節日,為新課的導入做好鋪墊,并能活躍課堂氣氛。4. Practice in pairs. S2: Can you tell me about Chinese festivals?S3: Yes,

8、學過的節日。3. Introduce the Thanksgiving.T: we have learned two American festivals. There is an American festival we havent learned. It is Thanksgiving. T: So they have a big, special dinner. Whats meaning “special”?Ss: 特殊的,特別的活動意圖:讓學生初步感知感恩節的來歷,增加他們對感恩節的興趣。引出和感恩節有關的食物,導入本課的一個重點句型,分解了課文的難點,降低了學生學習課文的難度。3

9、. Talk about the meaning of Thanksgiving.T: Thanksgiving means giving thanks to gods. Now it has different meaning. It means that thank you for all the good things we have.活動意圖:學生進一步加深對感恩節的理解,化解本課的另一個難點句型,拓展學生的文化知識,并且進行情感教育,讓學生懷著一顆感恩的心,珍惜他們擁有的一切。4. Listen and try to know the main idea.活動意圖:第一遍聽課文,讓學

10、生對課文內容有整體了解。5. Look at the key words and try to understand the text.活動意圖:第二遍聽課文,根據所給出的關鍵詞讓學生進一步加深對課文的理解。6. Listen and circle the correct answers.活動意圖:進一步鞏固學生對課文的理解,通過此題培養學生的答題技巧。7. Listen, repeat Paragraph 1 and answer the questions.Watch the CD-ROM (Listen to the tape and repeat) with several quest
