wereinthreevarieties:flatgrounds,groundswithhillsandsteps,andonesthathad
thecomplexitiesofthesecondsort,butwithaddedobjects.
Tobeginwith,theunimalswererandomlyassignedvariousshapes,butwith
identiccilsoftware—derl.Newlycreatedunimalslearnedtofacethechallengesina
virtualbootcamp.Theywerethenenteredintotournamentsingroups.Eachgroupwinner
