Myconcernwithleavingituptotheindividual,however,isourlimitedsenseof
whatneedstobeachieved.Ontheirown,takingourownbagstothegrocerystoreor
quittingplasticstraws,forexample,willaccomplishlittleandrequireverylittleofus.
Theycouldevenbedetrimental,satisfyinganeedtohave"doneourbit"withoutever

arguesthatthebestwaytocollectivelychangethebehavioroflargenumbersofpeople
