亨利·諾爾曼·白求恩（HenryNormanBethune，1890年3月4日－1939年11月12日）醫(yī)學(xué)博士，加拿大醫(yī)師、醫(yī)療創(chuàng)新者、人道主義者。他的胸外科醫(yī)術(shù)在加拿大、英國和美國醫(yī)學(xué)界享有盛名。白求恩1938年3月31日，率領(lǐng)一個由加拿大人和美國人組成的醫(yī)療隊來到中國延安，毛澤東親切接見了白求恩一行。1938年11月至1939年2月，率醫(yī)療隊到山西雁北和冀中前線進(jìn)行戰(zhàn)地救治，4個月里，行程750千米，做手術(shù)300余次，救治大批傷員。1939年11月12日因敗血癥醫(yī)治無效在河北省唐縣黃石口村逝世，終年49歲。1939年12月1日延安各界舉行追悼大會，毛澤東題了挽詞，并于12月21日寫了《紀(jì)念白求恩》一文，號召中國共產(chǎn)黨員學(xué)習(xí)他的國際主義精神和共產(chǎn)主義精神。1940年4月,在河北省唐縣軍城南關(guān)建立了白求恩墓。晉察冀軍區(qū)決定將軍區(qū)衛(wèi)生學(xué)校和模范醫(yī)院分別命名為白求恩衛(wèi)生學(xué)校和白求恩國際和平醫(yī)院。1952年，白求恩的靈柩遷入石家莊烈士陵園。aidworstconditionoperategovernmentmedicaln.
