一次尷尬的經(jīng)受

當(dāng)我們到達(dá)倫敦機(jī)場(chǎng)的時(shí)候還是凌晨，我已經(jīng)從阿姆斯特丹往倫敦過電報(bào)了，預(yù)租了一輛車等我們，但是在我到達(dá)公寓之前又發(fā)生了一倒霉的事。在我全部的旅行經(jīng)受中，英國(guó)海關(guān)從來沒有要求過我打開一個(gè)包，而且僅僅需要申明我沒有攜帶需交關(guān)稅的商品，只有這一次外。當(dāng)然，這是我的錯(cuò)，旅途的極度疲憊和神經(jīng)緊急已經(jīng)使我與人交的力量衰退了。不管出于什么緣由，我太累了，累得幾乎站不穩(wěn)。對(duì)于關(guān)人員提出的問題，“你看過這個(gè)嗎?”我極度愚蠢地回答：“看過幾百了。”
