1、Oxford English 1A Module 3 Places and activitiesUnit 1 In the classroom Good afternoon, everyone. Its my pleasure to share my teaching ideas with you. I will represent the topic from Oxford English books in 1A Module3 Unit1 In the classroom. I would like to say the lesson from three parts:Part One:
2、Analysis of teaching materialThe material of the book includes four parts: Look and learn (teaching the key words about numerals), look and say (teaching the key patterns), Say and act (practicing the key words and patterns) and listen and enjoy (enjoying a chant).Part Two: Unit aims and period aims
3、 The aims of this unit is divided into three parts. They are all as followed: The first part is language knowledge and skills. Language knowledge includes three points. 1. Use numerals to count from one to six e.g., one, two, three, four, five, six 2. Use numerals to show quantity e.g., three pencil
4、s 3. Ask wh-questions to find out quantity e.g., How many .? Then there are two aspects in language skills. They are listening skills and speaking skills. Listening skills 1. Identify the key words in an utterance by hearing the pronunciation 2. Hear specific information in response to simple instru
5、ctions 3. Understand the key pattern Speaking skills 1. Use numerals to describe things 2. Ask questions to find out quantity The second part is process and method. There are two points. 1. Use watching videos, singing songs, saying chants and playing games to arouse students interests in English 2.
6、 Use pair works, groups works and reading the text to help students learn language knowledge and skills The third part is emotion and attitude. I want to help students to know more about their stationery and enjoy their classroom life And I divide this unit into three periods:In the first period, I
7、try to enable students to use numerals to count from one to six. And let students to identify the key words in the context. Whats more, I want to enable students to know more about other numerals from seven to ten.In the second period, Id like to enable Ss to Using numerals to show quantity. E.g., t
8、hree pencils. Then let students to pronounce words, phrases and sentences correctly. And I hope students enable Ss to know more about the stationary.In the third period, students have to identify the key words in an utterance by hearing the pronunciation. In addition, students need to understand the
9、 key pattern: How many .? and ask wh-questions to find out quantity. E.g., How many .?Part Three Sub-topics and text contentAfter the unit aims have been shared, I have reconstructed the teaching material. I have designed the three sub-topics. They are as followed. Period 1 is my paper rabbits. The
10、text of the first period is based on listen and enjoy of page 29. Students can see ten little paper rabbits and count how many little paper rabbit they can see. This is the text of this period; The chant is easy for students to say and understand. Students can use numerals to count these ten little
11、paper rabbits. After the first period learning, students can count from one to six. And they will know more about numerals. Period 2 is my stationary. The text of the second period is based on say and act of page 27. Its a passage about Kitty, Eddie, Alice, Danny and Tom. They are talking about what
12、 stationary they can see and count the stationary. The key patterns are in their words such as “One two, three! I can see three pencils”. Students can use numerals to show quantity. It can also let students to know more about their stationary.Period 3 is my classroom. The text of the third period is based on look and say of page 27. The dialogue is between Miss Fang and her students. It happens in the classroom. Miss Fang is playing a guessing game with students. They are guessing the numbers of the stationary in Miss Fangs hands. Students will u
