9、發(fā)現(xiàn)問題。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生合作學(xué)習(xí)、探究學(xué)習(xí)的良好習(xí)慣。Step3 Explanation教師解釋課文中的一些長句,講解課文中的下列語言點(diǎn):The teacher explams the fbllowmg pomts:問題一: The walls weie built to protect states.修建城墻是為了保護(hù)他們的國家。句中的weie built是過去 時(shí)的被動(dòng)語態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu)。在句子的主動(dòng)形式是:They built the walls tO protect these states.問題二:have tlie walls linked and extended 該結(jié)構(gòu)中的 have 是使役動(dòng)
10、詞,意思是:“使、讓 ”, have sth./ sb.done意思是“使某物或某人被(強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作由別人來完成"',其中的linked和extended是過去分詞,表示被 動(dòng)。問題三:在 It took them more than ten years to build it under terribl conditions,句子中 it 用作形式主語,真正 的主語是不定式短語to build it under terrible conditions.這是一個(gè)很重要的句型,其結(jié)構(gòu)是:It takes/took+sb.+some tiine+ to do sth.意思是“做某事花

It was built in 1950.(這座房子太舊了。它是 1950 年建成的。)He was wounded in the fight.(他在戰(zhàn)斗在受傷了。)Electricity is used to inn machines.(電是用來開動(dòng)
17、機(jī)器的。)2、需要強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作的對(duì)象時(shí)。例如:Calculator can't be used in the maths exam.(計(jì)算器不能用于數(shù)學(xué)考試。)Books and newspapers in the readmg room mustnt be taken away.
