3、was eating. 她進來時，我正在吃東西。 when i lived in the countryside, i used to carry some water for him. 我住在農村時，我常常為他擔水。 2）while引導的從句 表示“當時”，強調主句的動作在從句動作進行的過程中發生。由于while從句表示一個持續的行為，所以從句中要用延續性動詞，并且延續性動詞常用進行時態。如： dont make any noise while i am recording. 我在錄音時（你們）別發出噪音。 while還可用作并列連詞，意為“而；然而”，表示對比。如： some people

5、，一般用現在完成時。其常用結構如下： a. 主句（現在完成時）+since+從句（一般過去時）。如： he hasnt been home since he graduated. 他畢業后沒回過家。 b. it be/has been+一段時間+since+從句。如： it is/has been two years since i became a postgraduate student 我成為研究生已有兩年了。 6）until引導的從句 a. 表示“直到”，主句和從句都用肯定式。如： they worked until it was late. 他們一直工作到天黑。 b. 表示“直到才”
