一.概述

完形填空考查學生在閱讀理解基礎上運用詞匯知識的能力。在一篇220-300詞的短文中留出15個空白,

要求考生從每題所給的4個選項中選出最佳選項,使補足后的短文意思通順,前后連貫,結構完整。以記

敘文為主,兼顧夾敘夾議文,偶有議論文和說明文。記敘文以記敘為主,但一般會在文章結尾處有文章寓

意等提升的議論色彩的文字。文章注重原汁原味,內容積極,貼近考生生活,傳播知識,傳遞正能量,可

讀性較強。

二技巧點撥

通讀全文,掌握文章主旨大意,重視首句,了解文章背景。找出文章中的時間,地點,人物,事件,起

因,結果等線索,理清文章的脈絡,弄清楚作者的寫文章的思路和用意。

(一)利用首句信息,了解文章主旨

完形填空的文章第一句往往是文章的主題句,不設空。把握主題句對于全文的理解有很大幫助。例如:

1.Leapingonthenarrowbalancebeamisnoteasy.ButLolaWalter,a13-year-oldgymnast,isanexpertatit.To

perfectherskills,Loalaforfourhoursaday,fivedaysaweek.AtthedatechampionshipsinMarch,she

finishedseventhoutof16girls.

A.runsB.dancedC.trainedD.exercised

由ButLolaWalter,a13-year-oldgymnast,isanexpertatit可知她是一名體操運動員,所以空格處應填trained

訓練,其他幾項不符合語境。

(二)尋找暗示信息,重視語境意義。

完型填空主要考查對語境的理解,所以在做題時要把握全局,進行連貫性思維,要把每個空白處的含義與

前后句的意思聯系起來,不要就空填空。要根據上下文進行合乎邏輯的推理判斷。難選的題通常在后文

有暗示。

如果四個選項形式完全相同,選哪一個從句子結構,意思上,語法上都說得通,這時就需要注意上下文的

語境,來區分,確定正確答案。

例如:

1.Itrunsinthe__1.Michael9sfatheralwayshelpedthepoorashebelieveditmadeeveryonehappier.

MachileGreenbergfeelsthesame.Apairofglovesmaybeasmallthing,butitmakeabigdifferenceinwinter.

這是一道語境題,僅看第一個句子,四個選項都可以。但后文講Michile的父親總是幫助窮人,因為他認為

那會使每個人更快樂。Michile感覺一樣,所以通過父子兩個人做同樣的事,推斷出應該是B.

(三)識別語篇標志,理清邏輯關系

表示結構層次的語篇標志詞有:firstlysecondly,thirdly,finally等。

表示邏輯關系的語篇標志詞有:thus,therefore,so

表示改變話題的標志語有:bytheway

表示遞進關系的標志語有:besides,whafsmore,furthermore(而且)

表示轉折關系的有:but,however,while,ontheotherhand,although等。

表示事件關系的有:meanwhile,before,when,until,later等。

通過這些語篇標志語,可以快速弄清楚上下文的關系,確定答案。

(四)利用原詞復現,尋找近義詞

完型填空試題中,有些詞語本身或它的同義詞重復出現在語篇中,因此可以通過上下文聯系找到,確定答

案。如:

(五)巧用背景常識,簡化判斷過程。

Iranbacktomycaranddrovebehindhim.FinallyIrecognizedafamiliarstreet.AsIturnedtoheadhome,thecar

disappeared.ThenI___mydrivewaywhenthewarninglightformygastankturnedon.

解析:影響這個題目正確作答的關鍵是對空后面的driveway的含義的理解driveay指的是thehardareaorroad

庭大多數是不存在這樣的一個driveway的。本句意思是當郵箱的耗油警示燈亮起的時候,我也到家了,所

(六)注意固定搭配:固定搭配主要是指動詞與介詞、副詞,名詞、形容詞后接介詞,介詞與名詞構成的搭配。

只需要廣大考生在背誦單詞的時候要掌握其常考搭配。

此看見,本題并不難,關鍵在于我們是不是對這個短語了解。所以,需要同學們平時在常用搭配方面多些

努力。

微技能(一)利用關聯詞匯

關聯詞匯指某詞以原詞,同根詞,同義詞,近義詞,上下義詞,反義詞等方式在語篇中復現。

例1.Myhusband,ourchildrenandIhavehadwonderfulcampingexperiencesoverthepasttenyears....Once,we

alongChalkCreek.

解析:AoA.camped露營;B.drove駕駛;C.walked散步,行走;D.cycled騎自行車。根據第一段中camping

微技能(二)利用邏輯推斷

句內或句組間常見的邏輯關系有因果,轉折,對比,遞進,并列,條件,概括,結果和順序等關系。
