Frommysecondgradeon,therewasoneeventIfearedeveryyear:thepianorecital(獨奏會)

Withhisfirstrecital,myfathertaughtmemoreaboutcourageanddeterminationthanall

thewordsheusedthose30-plusyearsago.

常見標志詞有:(1)并列關系:and,only...butonly...butalso,thatistosay等;(2)因果關系:

because,for,sothat,inorderthat,dueto,thanksto,thus,therefore,so等;(3)對比關系:

while,whereas,as,ratherthan,insteadof等;(4)轉折關系:although,though,even

if,nevertheless,despite,but,yet,however,onthecontrary等;(5)遞進關系:

also,then,besides,inaddition,furthermore,whafsmore等;(6)順序關系:first,then,on

Oneoftheeasiestthingsintheworldistobecomeafault-finder.However,lifecanbe36

whenyouarenotbusyfindingfaultwithit.

herfriends.Shebecameareally40person.

36.A.lonelyB.greatC.quietD.uneasy

37.A.receivedB.answeredC.expectedD.rejected

寫信,所以不能選answered(回復)。

38.A.threatenedB.interruptedC.botheredD.spoiled

39.A.anythingB.everythingC.somethingD.nothing

40.A.caringB上oringC.interestingD.surprising

Unfortunately,ittookahorribleaccidenttochangeher41.Herbestfriendwasseriously

harshly(亥U薄).Shewasabletotransferhernewwisdomtootherpartsofher48aswell.

41.A.attitudeB.planC.measureD.explanation

Itwasn'tuntilherfriendwasbadlyhurtthatKerrybecame46herhabitoffinding

fault.Veryquickly,shelearnedtoappreciateliferatherthanto47everythingsoharshly(亥!J薄).

42.A.urgentB.unnecessaryC.certainD.impossible

43.A.occasionB.eventC.accidentD.adventure

44.A.memoryB.noticeC.evidenceD.choice

根據語境并結合四個選項的含義可知,此處指對男朋友的"選擇(choice)”。memory記憶;

46.A.awareofB.afraidofC.curiousaboutD.confusedabout

(be)afraidof害怕,擔心;(be)curiousabout對...

47.A.discussB.realizeC.judgeD.settle

由ratherthan(而不是)可知,后面表達的意思應該與appreciatelife(欣賞生活)表達的意思相反。

48.A.familyB.lifeC.careerD.education

family

lettingthingsgo.Andwhenyoudo,you'llgetbackyourenthusiasmandloveforlife.

49.A.SOB.orC.butD.fbr

50.A.proudB.sureC.hopefulD.critical

51.A.faceB.createC.solveD.ignore

55.A.practiceB.speechC.restD.pity
