alongsidetheeastcoastofQueensland,Australia,whichisfamousforhavingthe

largestcoralreefsystemintheworldthat’s2,300kilometreslongandcoversanarea

ofnearly344,400squarekilometres.Byusingloudspeakerstoreproducesuchsounds,

areasofdeadcoralreefswerefoundtoattracttwiceasmanyfish,comparedtoplaces

wherenosoundswereplayed.Thesereturningfishcouldhelpintherecoveryofthis

ecosystembygivingthoseareasofcoralachanceofnewlife.
