II.Courseintroduction

Thiscourseisapubliccompulsorycoursefornon-computermajorundergraduatestudents.Itisthefirstlevelofbasiccomputereducationincollegesanduniversities,andthebasisforlearningothercomputer-relatedcourses.Thiscoursestartsfromapplicationandfocusesondevelopingstudents'abilitiesandawarenessofusingcomputerstosolveproblems.Thecontentofthiscoursemainlyincludes:computerbasicknowledge(softwareandhardwareknowledge),microcomputeroperatingsystem,theapplicationofcommonofficesoftwareandsoon.Throughthestudyofthiscourse,studentswillmasterthebasiccomputerknowledgeandbasicoperationskillsnecessaryforworking,studyingandlivingintheinformationsociety.

III.Teachingpurposes

Thiscourseisapubliccompulsorycourseforundergraduatestudentswhoarenotcomputermajors.Itlaysagoodfoundationforstudentstounderstandthedevelopmenttrendofinformationtechnology,befamiliarwiththecomputeroperatingenvironmentandworkingplatform,havethecommontoolsandsoftwaretodealwithdailyaffairsandcultivatethenecessaryinformationliteracyofstudents.Thiscoursefocusesoncultivatingstudents'basicabilitiesandthinkingmethodsofapplyingcomputers,soastoenablestudentstoacquireandprocessgeneralinformationbyusingcomputers,andlayagoodfoundationforusingcomputerstosolveproblemsintheirmajorandrelatedfieldsinsubsequentcourses.
