2、women.At home, Chen Yanling and Liu Likun studied the feminine consciousness of her novels (2007, 03).In 2008, Xiong Yanfei of JiangXi BlueSky University conducted a detailed analysis of the small themes of pride and prejudice.Song Wei, Jiang Lian (Yanshan University School of foreign languages) stu

3、died feminism in Pride and Prejudice in 2009.The works of Jane Austin's artistic charm is not only to see the fine,but is more simple,peoples daily life is depicted in full of sound and color through humorous language. Keeble, a famous British writer and critic, said, “Jane is a comedy artist” b

4、y and believes that she is “second only to Shakespeare”in pure comedy art.In nineteenth Century,the British famous historian, poet and political commentator Thomas Thomas Macauley called her “Shakespeare”in prose.Maugham said:“I believe that the majority of readers have identified Pride and Prejudic

5、e is a masterpiece of Austen,”I think their evaluation is very pertinent.It is the pleasure,wisdom and aspiration in her works that makes her work become a classic masterpiece rather than the critics of unanimous praise, professors, textbooks for school.Personally, I think that Pride and Prejudice i

6、s, in general, the most satisfying work of all novels.Maughams opinion not only represents the authoritative evaluation of scholars and experts, but also expresses the consensus of the world's readers.This thesis tries to interpret the “Pride and Prejudice” from the perspective of feminism and g

7、ive it a new point of view. It also tries to reveal the modern women's attitude towards life through the analysis of the heroine Elizabeth's view of life.學(xué)術(shù)價(jià)值和現(xiàn)實(shí)意義. Academic value: We can acquire a unique female perspective through reading the novel written by Jane Austen. She, as a woman wr

8、iter in the transitional period from the tradition and rebellion, made a huge contribution to the development of female literature in England. Austen , who was once hailed as “Shakespeare” by Foster described female unique feelings and experience of the world from the perspective of acute observatio

9、n, which conveyed the female wills and wishes and inspired female to perceive the world by their own perspectives, Austen, as the torchbearer of feminism and the advocate of female consciousness, asserted the independence of female personalities and appealed to equal rights. Her advancing thought an

10、d the care showed in the novel of Pride and Prejudice, obviously exerted a pioneering contribution to the female literature and an enlightening effect on contemporary human, especially for female. Besides, the female consciousness in this thesis will be studied a novel perspective. The vies on marri

11、age, for example, the awakening consciousness will be vividly reflected on the compare of different kinds of marriage in Pride and Prejudice. Practical significance: In the late 18th and the early 19th centuries, the male had always been the dominant position whether in the society or in the literar

12、y works of England. The dominant position of male not only exists on the areas of economy, politic and ideology, but also reflects on the literary works of male writers where the female is always controlled by male. But, the novel, Pride and Prejudice, is an exception, which is written by Austen fro

13、m a subversion and novel perspective, it welcomes an age of female. The female strong desires to fight for their equal rights and independence in this novel has awaken female consciousness in reality. The advanced female consciousness of this novel has become the ideological weapon for female to fig

14、ht for their freedom and independence. Actually, the society we lived today still exists gender inequality.
